Last updated: March 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ChairTime application ("the App") or website ("the Service"), whether on iOS, Android, or web, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ChairTime is a business management platform designed for independent hair stylists and salon professionals. It provides appointment scheduling, client management, income and expense tracking, calendar syncing, AI-powered tools, ad creation, and SMS notifications to assist stylists in running their business.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ChairTime. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
ChairTime offers a free trial period, after which a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe (web) or through in-app purchase via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, the App Store (iOS), or Google Play (Android).
Refunds: Payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to the respective store's refund policy. For web subscriptions processed via Stripe, please contact us at support@chairtime.app for refund inquiries.
6. SMS Communications
ChairTime enables stylists to send SMS messages to their clients for appointment confirmations, reminders, and payment invoices. By providing a phone number to a stylist using ChairTime, clients consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to their appointments.
Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. To request help, reply HELP.
ChairTime does not send promotional or marketing SMS messages. All SMS communications are strictly transactional (appointment-related).
7. Acceptable Use
